Villagers catch 70kg python that swallowed goat


Villagers in Muallim, Perak, caught a 70kg python with the help of Civil Defense Forces personnel after swallowing a goat, the Sin Chew Daily reported.

A worker cleaning the goat pen found the reptile asleep.

At 2:30 p.m. Friday, Civil Defense Forces were called to a farm near Behrang Station to catch the reptile.

It only took 10 minutes to do the job and the python, which was about 1.8m in length, was sent to the Sungkai National Parks and Wildlife Department.

The mother later revealed that he was happy her daughter cut off her old ID and her new one is still intact.
