More than 3,700 entries from organizations of all sizes and virtually every industry were submitted for consideration this year in a wide range of categories, from Startup of the Year to Thought Leader of the Year, among others. PRA Group has been nominated for its response to COVID-19 and its outstanding CSR program.
PRA Group’s COVID-19 response has been characterized by constant communication between management and employees, intensive safety measures, an employee vaccination clinic and a vaccination lottery.
The judges noted: “It is inspiring to hear of the quick and much-needed response that companies such as PRA Group have undertaken to protect their employees and keep the business running smoothly. Not only by focusing on internal challenges, but also by increasing vaccination rates, which has a huge impact on our society. I hope others turn to companies like PRA Group to learn how they can help our world move forward.
The company’s CSR program included donating an additional amount $250,000 in honor of the company’s 25th anniversarye anniversary through an employee-led nonprofit initiative, $1.7 million to charitable causes around the world and finding ways for its employees to stay virtually involved in the community. The judges applauded PRA Group’s creative ways of supporting worthy organizations, while simultaneously empowering employees.

More than 230 professionals from around the world participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners.
Nicknamed the Stevies after the Greek word for “crowned”, the prizes will be presented to the winners at a gala ceremony at the Marriott Marquis hotel in New York today, Monday, June 13.
