A Royal Python called Pitonka has escaped from an apartment in the 7th district of Budapest. Since then, his owners have been looking for him.
The owners concerned have put up posters in the 7th arrondissement, looking for their beloved pet.
“Our lovely, well-trained Royal Python escaped us on May 27,”
say the posters.
Like rtl.hu reports, the owners claim that the meter-long animal is very gentle, not dangerous to humans or animals, has no fangs and tends to cower in fear rather than attack. Therefore, area residents are urged to call the phone number on the posters if they see the reptile.
The owner of the snake said rtl.hu Tuesday that the animal has unfortunately still not been found. The shy animal is probably hiding in a dark, secluded place, but after a while it will have to crawl towards the sun and warm up. They hope that someone will then spot the animal and call them.
According Index, the owner also said that he did not have to report the animal to the police because he is completely harmless. However, some residents of their building were so frightened by the news that they considered moving.
